Okay, I am not sporty. I don’t like running around and sweating. I’m saying this because I did more sports that day than I ever did in my entire HS life.

Alex gave us a short frisbee workshop before lunch and then later in the afternoon, we played ultimate where I skinned my knee. LOL lampa forever! I also tried to shoot some hoops (OMG THAT SOUNDS SO PRETENTIOUS “SHOOT SOME HOOPS” GRABE KAINES) and played “Para kay…” You know, where you dedicate that shot for something or someone. LOL yes so highschool!

Almost everyone left at around 6PM, leaving Hannah and I alone at the house (yes, the Castro family wasn’t home LOL). Mae arrived a bit later and then we took a quick dip in the pool. Heee, alcohol-free bonding!

Tuesday: I woke up thinking that my classes for that day were my majors. It wasn’t until Patty texted me that we were supposed to jog for PE that I realized what my correct schedule was.

Jogged two fucking rounds of Acad Oval for PE as exercise or whatever for camping.

Things you need to know:

• There isn’t a sporty bone in my body. Not even a molecule of sportiness. Nope.
• Patty is the total opposite of me. She likes sports and she’s good at it.

So needless to say, I dragged Patty down that day LOL.

Decided to get lunch at Sisig Hooray with orgmates. Sisig Hooray was closed so we walked to KFC only to find out it’s being renovated. *tears* Took a tricycle to Wok Dis Way and waited a long time for our food.

Wednesday: Attended all of my classes that day AND did the assignment due on 5PM that very same day!

Thursday: Cut my PE becos my legs still hurt after jogging. Huhuhu! Had lunch at Mcdo with Jenny and Cheska just for kicks. Passed my Eng30 paragraph, stayed for a while at the tambayan then went back to Katip to hang out with Cheska (she doesn’t have classes on Thursday, that lucky bitch) and Honey. Hee. Honey treated us to Saint’s Alp and I finally opened the box of twenties I bought for Christmas. We stayed until 10 talking about family, smoking tricks and other stuff.

Friday: Attended all of my classes! (YAY MANAGED TO ONLY CUT PE!) HRD meeting in the afternoon @ Greenwich. Very productive. Hung out with HRD peeps @ 7Eleven (Tanduay Ice is the worst drink ever!!) and then played Rockband until 11PM. Fun, fun, fun!

The food was so delicious I can’t deal! Brownies, pancit malabon, puto (!!!), lechon, chicken and CHESKA’S CARBONARA!!!!!!!!!!! I’m getting hungry just thinking about it.

I won a hundred pesos from winning a game where you’re supposed to guess ten objects using your elbows, face and tongue. HIHIHI MONEY!

Then, we divided ourselves into two teams, Team Polka Dots and Team Checkered, for Pinoy Henyo. At first, our team (polka dots) was the only one scoring despite the uber-hard words we got (Castanas wtf) but then after Team Checkered ALWAYS got words under the category parte ng katawan ng tao they started scoring as well. HUHUHU

Team Polka Dots also lost to charades. IN ALL FAIRNESS TO US, OUR WORDS WERE STILL HARDER COMPARED TO WHAT THE OTHER TEAM GOT. Oh well. Team Checkered got a hundred pesos each and we got twenty. So sad.

I slept over at Xai’s and we played SHOT KO NA TOHHH. LOL best Christmas inuman ever! After Cheska and Gette went home I proceeded to cry over stuff that I don’t remember talking about LOL. Thankfully, I didn’t throw up anywhere in the room and managed to walk to the bathroom before emptying the contents of my stomach. LOL. I woke up to a pounding headache and two bonus trips to the bathroom. Yay!

Our house might be missing some of Dad’s holiday decorations (he was always the one who would go on a decor spree) and Mommers (my siblings and I agreed to call her that because of Modern Family) might be stressing over with all the budget constraints for Christmas but I KNOW that this year’s Christmas would be a success because our family is at peace with each other. Heehee.

Honestly, last year’s Christmas sucked. Dad almost didn’t come home from Noche Buena and buckets of tears were shed. The holiday cheer wasn’t there. This year’s is the total opposite. We visited Dad today and we had lots of fun telling stories about uncontrollable bowel movements, field trips and stress over school. We hung out in their cell and his little room was so cute!!! Iba talaga ang Pinoy, sobrang maparaan! Haha.

We’re about to go to the anticipated Christmas Mass at 9PM so I’ll make this quick! I won’t make it super cheesy because that’s reserved for the Obligatory Cheesy New Year’s post.

2. Must be on call and almost always ready to go 24/7. You better be ready to welcome me in to your home when I have nowhere else to go when I’m bored. You better be willing to get dragged to go drinking in the middle of the afternoon or get dinner at some place cheap (or expensive, it depends on our wallets).

3. Must be able to deliver witty hirits and banats. Don’t you hate that feeling when someone tries so hard to deliver a joke and pass it off as if it’s such a natural hirit? It’s embarassing! Cringe-worthy, even. There’s a thin line between corny jokes that could be laughed at and corny jokes that would just earn cricket sounds and awkward what-do-we-say-next?? glances.

4. Must be able to talk fast. A lot of people I’m friends with already know this–I hate slow talkers. No matter how interesting your story might be, if it takes you fifteen minutes to tell a simple story, expect me to just nod my head rhythmically and feign interest. You know that moment in TV shows wherein someone is talking and then their voice gets muted out and another character talks in the background in the form of a voiceover? That happens to me every single time I talk to someone so uninteresting. They might be very friendly and smart and fun to be with, just don’t let them yap on about something “so funny” that happened yesterday. Because trust me, when they tell something “so funny”, it won’t be anymore.

5. Must be capable of feeling hate. I can’t be around with someone so nice and sweet and good and lovable all the time because I will feel like I’m the spawn of Satan whenever I express how irritating this girl in my class is or how I’d like to throw a pencil at my oooh-look-at-me-I’m-a-cool-professor. It’s fine if we hate different things, as long as he/she hates something.

DO NOT ASK ME HOW I GOT SICK BECAUSE I DO NOT KNOW MYSELF. Who the fuck gets sick without any reason? Me, that’s who. I suck.

I had a fun day yesterday though! I attended all my classes (since this week is supposed to be Not Cutting Week but then we can save that title for another week because I got sick!!! SADFACE) and I had dinner with Thea and Prans at Yakimix at Trinoma! At first, the plan was just to drink until we’re drunk but then Prans started yapping about Yakimix that Thea and I had no other choice but to give in to her wishes. LOL.

There were so much food at Yakimix! (Well, duh, it’s an eat-all-you-can buffet, Redg what did you expect??) I just wanted to try everything! Of course, I wasn’t able to do that. I felt so weak that I felt full so quickly. And by quickly, I meant two and a half hours. LOL.

Met up with someone and had so much fun! GUITAR HERO SHOWDOWN PART 2 NEXT TIME!

We’ve been planning this surprise (actually, just talking about it, there wasn’t really any planning on when the actual DOING would happen) for these past few weeks. Online, I jokingly made the suggestion that we make a tarpaulin as part of his birthday surprise (as a gag to all those 18th birthday tarpaulins people make lol). At first, it started out as a joke but then Patty googled “birthday tarpaulins” and the idea was so hilarious that we just had to do it. With the help of Patty’s friend’s editing skillz, we managed to print a 2×3 tarp for him. YAY US?!?! BEST BUDDIES EVER!!!

So we arrived at Patty’s place at around 8PM? (Or was it 9?) The plan was to hand write all the birthday messages and wishes we got online (we also had a few people write their own messages themselves) on strips of colored papers and arrange them like this:

Of course, at first, we weren’t that worried. It was just 9PM! The night is young, yadayada there’d be people going online whom we can ask messages for! So we procrastinated a bit.

We ran out of hot pink colored paper at around 10PM, so we went out to buy some. Yeah, THAT’S WHAT YOU CALL DEDICATION! DON’T SETTLE FOR OTHER INFERIOR COLORED PAPERS!

Patty and I developed a quota system. We both had to write on 25 strips of paper. By 1AM, we’re already running out of ideas on what to write about that we actually resorted to bombarding Hya over YM on what other moments with Vince could she remember. She gave a few suggestions which, in effect, triggered some of our own memories and we actually felt hope that we’d be able to finish this surprise.

We would never be able to fill everything with scrolls. So we unleashed our ~CREATIVITY~ and added a ~border~.

The plan was to put two swirly borders and just aim to fill in the middle.

We finished it around 4AM. The next plan was filling in the border with filler scrolls the following morning. We had to wake up at 6:30AM because Patty had an 8:30 class.

YAY DONE (almost)

Of course, we didn’t really get up at 6:30. We woke up at around 10AM, had a quick breakfast and started rolling scrolls like madmen. We finished everything at around 11.

We took a cab to UP (in fear of being late and not being able to get everything arranged before Vince arrives at the tambs) and there were a lot of people at the tambs!! Unfortunately, all of those losers had class at 1PM and the only ones that would be left would be Patty and I. I got a bit cranky about that lol YEAH SUCH GOOD ORGMATES hahaha kidding (or am I???)

Thankfully, some of them still haven’t left for class when Vince arrived so we had a few people greet him happy birthday. We were pointedly ignoring him lol.

His reaction towards his tarpaulin was fucking priceless. He didn’t even notice it at first. It was only when Patty glanced at the wall when he saw it. We also gave his birthday gift (that brief from Bench that he laughed at) and the box of letters! Yay!

Patty and I didn’t attend any of our classes that day and just hung out at sunken garden. We were so fucking tired and sleepy. Ugh.

It was so tempting to just sleep.

Vince treated us to dinner at Shakey’s!!! IN SHORT, THE #siblingproject WAS A HUGE SUCCESS THANKS TO US LOL
